Timberlove® is now registered under both EU REACH and UK REACH. The EU registration, completed in mid-2025, opened the product to full commercial availability across the European Union. The UK registration followed in early 2026, extending that compliance to UK manufacturers, customers and distributors.
REACH registration requires a detailed evaluation of a substance's chemical properties, toxicological profile, environmental impact and manufacturing process. Passing it under both frameworks confirms the strength of Timberlove®'s safety data and the standard fragrance houses and flavour manufacturers can expect when specifying it in regulated markets. Customers can now treat Timberlove® as a fully compliant ingredient, not only a high-performing one.
The product is made from renewable feedstocks through a fully controlled, bio-based and chemical process, avoiding the olfactory noise that fermentation-based Ambroxide routes can introduce. The result is a warm, woody, mineralic amber note with the stability, solubility and consistency that professional formulators need.
Alongside its ASTM D6866 and TÜV SÜD biogenic carbon certifications, these REACH registrations make Timberlove® one of the most thoroughly validated Ambroxide sources on the market.
